We built Vesper NY around that belief. Every product in our collection exists for a single purpose: to make the last hours of your day feel as intentional, as beautiful, and as restorative as they deserve to be.

The Name
Vesper — The Evening Star
Vesper is the Latin word for evening. In ancient Rome, the evening star — the planet Venus visible at dusk — was called Vesper. It was the first light to appear in the darkening sky, a signal that the day was ending and rest was beginning.
In religious tradition, Vespers are the evening prayers: a daily ritual of winding down, reflecting, and preparing for sleep. For centuries across cultures, the vesper hour has been the moment when people pause, breathe, and tend to themselves.
The "NY" is New York. Not because we manufacture there, but because the brand's aesthetic lives at the intersection of Madison Avenue editorial elegance and SoHo's maker culture. New York is where luxury meets intention. That's where Vesper NY lives.
From Turkish Ateliers
The Silk
We source directly from heritage textile ateliers in Turkey — a region with centuries of mastery in silk, cotton, and soap-making. By working directly with artisans rather than through brokers, we control quality at every step and offer luxury-grade materials without the luxury-house markup.
Every fabric is dyed with AZO-free botanical pigments that won't bleed, fade, or transfer, and is tested to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 for prolonged skin contact.

The Botanicals
Hair & Body, Made for the Ritual
Our hair care is formulated with silk proteins and plant-based actives — argan oil, botanical extracts, and silk amino acids. Every scented product in our collection gets its fragrance from nature, not a lab: no synthetic fragrance compounds, ever.
These are the small rituals that turn washing your hair or moisturizing your skin from a chore into part of the evening itself.
Aleppo Heritage
The Soap
Our Daphne Laurel Soap is made by a family-run atelier on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. They cold-press daphne laurel berries and olive oil using a method practiced continuously for roughly 3,000 years — from Phoenician trading posts through Byzantine bathhouses to Ottoman hammams.
Each bar contains exactly four ingredients: saponified olive oil, saponified laurel berry oil, water, and sea salt. No synthetic fragrances. No preservatives. No parabens. Hand-cut, stamped with the maker's mark, and cured for nine months in open air before it reaches you.
