Machine Washing:
- Turn pillowcases inside-out.
- Use a fine mesh laundry bag to prevent snags in the machine.
- Use a gentle, enzyme-free, pH neutral detergent (we recommend Heritage Park Silk & Wool Detergent).
- Wash in a silk-only load on a delicate cycle with cold water.
- Wash as frequently as needed or when dirty/stained.
- Hang drying away from direct sunlight is best.
- If necessary, briefly machine dry using only the "air/tumble dry" setting with no heat.
Hand Washing:
- Fill a clean basin or sink with lukewarm water.
- Add a small amount of gentle, silk-friendly detergent.
- Submerge sheets, swish gently, and soak briefly to clean.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water.
- Do not wring. Gently squeeze out excess water or roll in a clean towel to absorb moisture.
- Air dry away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and maintain silk’s softness
